Dear Parents,

The Arcadia High School Chinese Parent Booster Club will host the October seminar of the 2026–27 school year in AHS MPR on Friday, Oct 9th 2026, at 7:00 p.m.

To help families better understand summer programs, internships, and work opportunities available to high school students, we are pleased to invite two experienced Arcadia High School parents, Professor Chongwu Zhou and Professor Yongping Zhang, to share valuable information and insights on summer planning for high school students.

Professor Chongwu Zhou earned a Ph.D. from Yale University and is currently a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC). He will focus primarily on summer programs, summer camps, and educational opportunities for high school students, and will share guidance on how students can identify programs that align with their interests and future goals.

Professor Yongping Zhang earned a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago and is currently a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona. He will focus primarily on internships, work opportunities, and hands-on experiences for high school students, including ways students can develop professional skills and gain valuable real-world experience through summer opportunities.

We are also pleased to welcome student representatives from ASB, Link Crew, and SMW, who will introduce their respective student organizations, activities, participation opportunities, and upcoming plans. This will give parents and students a better understanding of the diverse opportunities available on campus to get involved, build leadership skills, and enrich their high school experience.

Light refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30 PM for social time; the seminar will officially begin at 7:00 PM. Following the presentations, there will be a dedicated Q&A session.

Welcome to join us on Oct 09th, 2026!
